Private capital and the looming retail opportunity

Amid disappointing returns, yield-starved retail investors are increasingly scoping out new asset classes outside of stocks and bonds, including private capital. If the private capital industry is to undergo retailisation, then there needs to be the infrastructure to support it, as David Genn, CEO at Goji, a Euroclear-owned investment platform technology provider, explained at this year’s Fund Forum.
